Mark Nelson Builders

I met Mark Nelson in 2004 and had him re-side and paint, inside and out, one of my houses.  Mark conducted himself in a professional manner, was thorough and finished on time.

I also had Mark rehab a second house of mine.   Siding, paint, drywall and he also finished this one in a timely and professional manner.  Mark handled all the permits. 

Mark also remodeled my three story Victorian.  This project was a whole house paint, two bathroom remodels, and extensive drywall repair in the house and insulated under the house.

I recommend Mark Nelson because he knows how to take on a project, has a strong attention to detail and makes it look easy, he can keep his crews focused and on task.  Mark’s jobs go very smoothly and he has a good rapport with the local building inspectors.  In fact, one building inspector went as far to say “if you got Mark, you are in good hands”."

 Our professional relationship started off with a whole house remodel in San Clemente, Ca.  This project included installing new headers in the back of the house, sliders, stucco on back of the house, whole house paint (inside and out), can lights throughout the interior of the house, re-taping and texturing of entire house.

Mark Nelson Builders came to my rescue to do a roof, exterior paint and some other miscellaneous projects I have been putting off.  In my search for a licensed contractor I met a lot of characters but only one would fit the bill and that was Mark Nelson. 

I told Mark I was looking for a no nonsense contractor such as no dogs at my house, no smoking and no girlfriends!  Mark said “yes sir and lets pick a color for your house”.  I also told him from start to finish I wanted my project completed in 3 weeks, insurance, workers comp. and no nails on the ground.  Mark said “yes sir”.  My project was completed in two weeks and three days.  A special thanks to Mark Nelson and his crew and if you are looking for no nonsense contractor with no BS I highly recommend and vouch for Mark Nelson.
